Dabur Vatika Enriched Coconut Hair Oil Review

Hello All, My post is Dabur Vatika Enriched Coconut Hair Oil Review. I must admit I am addicted to write on BHB these days and makeup, skin and hair care things are attracting me so much that I am always on hunt of new products. Today my post is about our own Dabur Vatika Enriched Coconut hair oil. Winters make my hair dry and frizzy. So I do massage my hair twice a week followed by steaming my hair. I keep it overnight and wash my hair next morning. I use different oils like olive oil, castor oil and sometimes plain coconut oil too. Dabur is a trusted brand and the products are known to be herbal. All of you know how much I love herbal products as they have minimum side effects.

I use Vatika hair oil for my regular hair massage so I was not expecting it to do some magic on my hair. It claims to have ingredients such as lemon, henna and amla which are known to be beneficial for the hair as well as for the scalp. I have dandruff too which is at its peak in winters. This oil contains lemon which helps in controlling dandruff. I am using this oil for a few weeks now and since it is an herbal preparation I use it on my daughter’s hair too sometimes. Read on to know how it fared on me:

My experience with Dabur Vatika Enriched Coconut hair oil

Dabur vatika enriched coconut hair oil is my current favourite for oil massage. It is not very sticky like a coconut oil. It smells great and I keep sniffing my hands after applying the oil. The fragrance is not bothersome. I also like Dabur vatika enriched coconut hair oil as it does not contain any mineral oil rather it contains coconut oil as a base unlike other oils which have mineral oil as base and since this oil contains all natural ingredients there aren’t any side effects. I was not expecting much from Dabur vatika enriched coconut hair oil but it does its job fairly. I have mid length fine hair which are prone to breakage as they become dry and frizzy in winters. Dabur hair oil provides enough moisture to my hair which helps in controlling frizz to a certain extent. I cannot say that Dabur vatika enriched coconut hair oil eliminates dandruff as I still have dandruff but it does control it a little.

Post shampooing, my hair does not feel limp and lifeless rather it gave my hair a nice volume and body it also gave a little shine on my hair. My main concern is dandruff that is genetic in our family and so it refuses to go. Though Dabur vatika enriched coconut hair oil didn’t eliminated dandruff but it does help in reducing the occurrence. This oil is easily available at regular cosmetic shops and is very affordable. Dabur vatika enriched coconut hair oil comes in a green coloured sturdy bottle. It is easy to carry and travel friendly. Since there is coconut oil in it, it solidifies in winters. I melt it by keeping it in a double boiler. I warm it up before application. Dabur vatika enriched coconut hair oil also claims to make hair thick which I doubt as my hair are of the same thickness as before.

To sum up I can say Dabur vatika enriched coconut hair oil a pretty decent hair oil for dry hair, although it does little for dandruff, it is good for massages and for our hair too.
