Cleansing

So the first step of our Coconut Facial is cleansing. Mix 1 tsp coconut oil with 1 tsp curd and make a smooth paste. Massage the face with it for a minute. Then wipe it off with a tissue. Coconut oil is rich in vitamin E and antioxidants. It helps to delay skin aging and also to get rid of many skin problems. Curd is a rich source of lactic acid that makes our skin bright and glowing.

Scrubbing

Step 2 is scrubbing and for this, I have used coconut milk and oats. In a bowl, mix 1 tsp of coconut milk and 1 tsp oats. If you do not have coconut milk readily available, use plain milk. Scrub your face for two minutes with this mixture of coconut milk and oats. Wipe off with a tissue or damp towel. Oats will remove the impurities from our skin while coconut milk will help with skin firming.

Steaming

After scrubbing, comes steaming. Steaming is a very important part of our skin care routine. This process helps to unclog the pores and gets rid of all the skin impurities. Skin starts to breathe more freely and looks radiant and fresh.

Mix well and apply it on the face with the help of a cotton ball. Let it sit for 10 minutes and then remove it. Honey boosts our complexion and due to its anti bacterial properties, honey keeps our skin free from acne and pimples.
