Day 3 of IIJW encountered a lot of bollywood divas and celebrities. The finale show was by Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas Jewellers. Two of the most stunning actresses set the runway ablaze. The Liril girl Preity Zinta who was last seen in “Nach Baliye” along with the beautiful Miss Acia Pacific Dia Mirza were the showstopper for Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas Jewellers. We are happy to see these glowing beauties on ramp as they set the ramp on fire. So let’s take a look at my post on Bubbly Preity Zinta and Beautiful Dia Mirza Turn Royal Princess on Day 3 at IIJW.
Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas Jewellers showcased a royal and magnificent collection which wowed the audience. On the finale of IIJW, Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas Jewellers presented their new collecton “Adaa”– an ode to woman. The jewellery connected with the woman and their characters and the preference to the jewellery. It represented how ancient royal queens of Indian history defined style, and how even todays woman can relate to it. Out of the six queens portrayed, Preiy Zinta portrayed the royal queen jodha bai, while Dia Mirza, portrayed hyderabadi queen Niloufer. The design collection was inspired from the taste and elegance of these royal queens.
After the show, dimpled Preity revealed on social networking site, “Back from the IIJW (India International Jewellery Week ) 2015. Tonight I paid a tribute to “Jodha Bai” the famous Rajput Queen. Being a Rajput made this event even more special. Love Indian Jewellery & all our wonderful costumes. PS. My jewelry weighed over 8kgs and the outfit was over 15 kg seriously … I’m not kidding Ting !
Preity Zinta wore a red heavily embellished golden and red lehenga. She wore a heavy kundan jewellery which complemented her overall looks. The red and gold color suited perfectly the fair Bollywood beauty. We loved her heavy earrings, with matching bangles, kamar patta, and the mang tikka. The heavy necklace had similar designs which matched well with her blouse and sleeve work. Preity wore a red lip color.
Dia Mirza also impressed us with her white and gold ensemble. She kept the jewellery minimum with choker necklace and dangling earrings. Her short cropped hair added charm to the entire show. For make up Dia wore maroon lip color and matched the nail polish with the same color. For eyes, she did not apply much of anything besides, liner, kohl and mascara.
We loved the elegant yet royal collection. Let me know what you all think of Preity Zinta and Dia Mirza’s looks on Day 3 of IIJW 🙂
