What Bio Oil Claim

My experience with Bio Oil 

Bio oil comes in plastic transparent bottle packaging with screw white cap packing. Packaging of bio oil is sturdy means easy to carry. Bio Oil does have a synthetic scent to it but I got used to it and its not the worst synthetic scent I’ve ever smelled. As per name bio oil it has runny consistency like oil.

After 1 months of usage, I see development on the size or color of my pregnancy stretch marks. Now in one month used my Stretch marks become less visible with continued use and color has also become much lighter. My stomach skin also feels more supple and smoother than before.  Rub 1-2 drops in a circular motion, twice a day. It may take up to 3 months to see results. The scar won’t completely disappear, but will be much less noticeable.

What I don’t like about this product and would like to share in this Bio Oil review is that even with the PurCellin oil which is said to be a thinner version of the duck oil, the product still feels oily and heavy. It will take time before the product is absorbed by the skin so it can be a pain to apply especially if you’re in a rush. Bio Oil also has no active anti-ageing ingredient but can be used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles as it smoothes and re-hydrates the skin.

I also used bio oil for my face and it brightened up my complexion and also i noticed fine lines are softened, but regular use of it break me out on nose area. I noticed lots of whitehead on my nose area and small bumps on forehead.

Overall Bio-Oil is good enough at reducing scars and stretch marks. Not much true in its anti aging claim.

• Break outs skin (Bio Oil does contain many oil based ingredients it may cause oily skin or break outs on the area where you apply the product)
