Banjara’s Papaya Face Wash Review

Hi all 🙂 Today I will be sharing Banjara’s Papaya Face Wash Review. As the weather changes from summer to winters, it is important to change our skin care and hair care products too accordingly. Especially when it comes to face washes, while we mostly go for neem based face washes in summers to control oil and acne, during winters, we need a mild, gentle cleanser which doesn’t dry out the skin too much. Papaya is known as ‘The fruit of the angels’, because of its great taste and numerous health and skin benefits.

Banjara's Papaya Face Wash Review

Papaya is one of the best natural ingredients for skin care. It gives a natural, glowing skin and also helps to exfoliate dead skin cells. Papaya keeps our skin hydrated. Being a rich source of Vitamin A, papaya acts as a great anti-oxidant for skin. Papaya also helps in preventing premature ageing. Plus it has skin lightening properties too!! A daily face wash with the main ingredient as papaya is a great boon. Read on my Banjara’s Papaya Face Wash Review to know how it fares.

My experience with Banjara’s Papaya Face Wash

Banjara’s Papaya Face Wash comes in a sturdy plastic tube with an orange flip-open cap. The tube is transparent and you can easily see how much product is left. The cap shuts tightly and since its also compact, you can carry it around easily without fear of leakage.

Banjara’s Papaya Face Wash comes in an orange-colored thick gel form. It smells just like fresh papayas and not anything artificial. The fragrance doesn’t last after washing.

A coin-sized amount of Banjara’s Papaya Face Wash is required for one use. It doesn’t create any lather at all, so those who like to foam up their face washes might not prefer it. But since I generally prefer non-foaming face washes, it doesn’t bother me.

Banjara’s Papaya Face Wash cleanses the face of all oil, dirt and grime and leaves your face fresh and clean. It doesn’t cause any dry or stretchy feeling after wash. Apart from this, there is nothing else great about the face wash. It doesn’t give any glow or brighten up the face whatsoever. Also, it doesn’t help to control oil. Within a couple of hours, my face starts becoming oily.

The only con with Banjara’s products are they don’t list the complete ingredients list. There are no details on whether the product contains SLS or parabens. From the way the product doesn’t lather at all, maybe I guess there is no SLS. But I wish the brand mentioned the info.

Overall, Banjara’s Papaya Face Wash is a decent enough, budget face wash for everyday use. It will suit all skin types and is very mild and gentle. But if you are looking for extra benefits like brightening, pigmentation, glow, etc, you will be disappointed.

  1. That’s a major problem I have with these products Archana. They mention their key ingredients under the garb of being herbal/organic/natural products but are no better than those chemical-laden products which we overtly criticise. Anyway, I’m gald it has worked to some extent for you 🙂

    • Yes, that’s the only thing I don’t like about Banjara’s – not mentioning key ingredients. Especially nowadays, when everyone reads the ingredients list before buying any product, I think all brands should come clean on their complete ingredients…

  2. cleansing without drying is enough for me to give it a try…

  3. Banjara products are pretty nice…this looks good too 🙂

  4. This sounds nice, but I wouldn’t be too keen on it if it doesn’t help keep oil away for long.

    • Yes, this doesn’t control oil much… I use a salicylic acid based face wash morning and evening to control acne. In the afternoon, I need something more gentle, so I use this.
