Banjara’s Multani & Papaya Face Pack Review

Face packs are one of my favorite beauty care products. I love using them twice a week to relax and rejuvenate myself. Since I have oily-combination skin, I mostly go with clay-based face packs. Most of the times, I make a DIY at home using multani-mitti, yoghurt and other ingredients. But sometimes, I am just lazy and readymade face packs come to the rescue. Today, I will be reviewing one such face pack – Banjara’s Multani & Papaya Face Pack.

Banjara's Multani & Papaya Face Pack Review

Papaya is a magical ingredient for skincare. Regular use of papaya in face packs and body masks nourishes the skin and gives a nice, natural glow to the skin. But most often we find it difficult to use papaya regularly as peeling and deeseding the fruit is cumbersome. Banjara’s has come up with a face pack combining the benefits of multani mitti for controlling oil and papaya for giving the glowing look. Read on my Banjara’s Multani & Papaya Face Pack Review to know how it works.

My experience withBanjara’s Multani & Papaya Face Pack

Banjara’s Multani & Papaya Face Pack comes in a sturdy, white plastic tube with all the product details printed on the back side. The tube has a flip-open cap which shuts tightly. The packaging is compact and can be carried around easily.

Banjara’s Multani & Papaya Face Pack has a nice, light smell of fresh papayas. It is not an artificial fragrance, but feels natural and not overpowering. The consistency is medium, neither too runny which makes the pack drip all over your face, or not too thick so that it becomes difficult to spread and apply. It has the perfect consistency for a face pack.

Banjara’s Multani & Papaya Face Pack is very creamy and spreads easily on the face. I apply a thick layer and leave on for 15 minutes. It takes time to dry unlike other clay based packs. Even after 15 minutes, I could feel that the pack was not completely dry on my face. Nevertheless, I washed off. Being very creamy, it sticks to the skin and takes lot of time to wash off. Though it appears creamy in texture, which washing off, I could feel the mild grainy texture of multani mitti. It helps to exfoliate the dead cells. After washing and patting dry, I could feel my skin appeared cleaner, all blackheads and whiteheads removed. Also there was a nice natural glow to my face. I could also see some layer of tan had been removed. It didn’t make my face very dry like other clay packs. Also, I had a small pimple coming up on my face that day and this had helped to subdue the pimple very much. It might be due to the detoxifying and oil controlling effect of multani mitti. Also, my face was more tighter and firmer. It doesn’t help much in existing pimples, but whenever I use the face pack on the same day I get a new pimple, it has good effects in calming it down.

Overall, Banjara’s Multani & Papaya Face Pack is a very good, affordable face pack for regular maintenance. It is not a face pack targeting any specific treatment like dark spots, brightening or anti-ageing. But it does all the job of what a basic clay pack is supposed to do effectively.
