Avene Cleanance Gel Review

Avene Cleanance Gel Review – Cleansers play a very important role in summer daily skin care routine. Avene Cleanance Gel is a soap free cleanser which is specifically formulated to take care oily, acne-prone skin. It is enriched with Avene Thermal Spring Water which has soothing and softening properties and it instantly provides soothness to irritated skin. This Avene Cleanance Gel also contains ‘Monolaurin’ which is known for its oil controlling properties. Normally the face washes that are made for oily skin types tend to contain strong cleansing agent to get rid of excess oil from the skin, and as a result, our skin gets dehydrated and dry over time. But this Avene Cleanance Gel is one of the most gentle face washes which claims to remove the extra oil from the face without any dryness.

Avene Cleanance Gel Review

Avene is a famous French skin care brand that has different skin care ranges to cater to all kinds of sensitive skin. Avene Cleanance Gel is from their skincare range which is formulated for oily and sensitive skin. I have used the Avene Cleanance Mask in the past and it has worked wonders for my sensitive and acne-prone skin. Avene Cleanance Gel is one of Avene’s most raved about products and I had my eyes on it since long. However, I was in slight dilemma as to how it would work on my combination skin which is oily on the t-zone only. I feared that it might worsen the condition of my already dehydrated skin. But finally I gave into my temptation and bought this cleanser a month ago. Check out my Avene Cleanance Gel Review below and find out how it worked for me.

My experience with Avene Cleanance Gel

Avene Cleanance Gel comes in a transparent plastic container. The white cap has an unique twist mechanism that reveals a small opening when you twist the cap anti-clockwise. The small opening controls product flow very nicely, as well as shuts the bottle securely to prevent leakage and/or spillage. The back of the bottle carries all the product details. The packaging is very much travel friendly.

Its a aqua-blue colored gel face wash which appears almost colorless when you pour it into the palm. Avene Cleanance Gel has a mild yet very refreshing fragrance. Just a tiny amount of cleanser is required per wash. Being a soap free cleanser, it doesn’t foam much, but effectively takes excess oil, dirt, sweat and makeup residue off the face. And it doesn’t dry out the skin at all. Avene Cleanance Gel is specifically formulated for oily, acne-prone skin, yet it has worked really well on my combination skin. The gel based cleanser deeply cleanses the pores and leaves the skin feel clear, clean and refreshed, just what it claims.

It removes the excess oil from my T-zone without making my skin dry or stretchy at allAvene Cleanance Gel is very helpful in controlling breakouts. It also works well to reduce the existing acne and clears off small zits really fast. However, it doesn’t help much to get rid of the really big ones, but it soothes the irritation to a great extent. The formula is hypoallergenic and non comedogenic, hence can be used safely by those with sensitive skin. It has become my HG face wash for summer.

Overall, Avene Cleanance Gel is one of the best face washes for combination-oily skin, specially if you have sensitive skin and you are prone to breakouts. This gel based, soap-free cleanser effectively removes excess oil from the face and leaves the skin feel squeaky clean and fresh without any dryness. It also effectively controls the frequency of breakouts and doesn’t take much time to clear off tiny breakouts. Highly recommended!
