Pouting has become synonymous with selfies, isn’t it? And to have those drool-worthy pout-a-licious lips, don’t you need to have supple, hydrated and pink lips? That calls for having a lip balm that works to repair and nourish your lips and not just beautify them. The markets today are inundated with a number of lip balms which spells cheer since we have myriad options but a glance at their ingredients list (or key ingredients list) and once cannot help but cower in fear at the sheer number of toxic chemicals pumped in them. And today, I am going to share the review of an organic lip balm -Aroma Essentials Chocolate Lip Balm Review.
Since lips absorb a portion of what is put on them, I don’t want to torment my body by letting it ingest chemicals just because they preen my appearance. After going through some organic brands, I finally zeroed in on Aroma Essentials Chocolate Lip balm which is organic, vegan and thankfully, free from preservatives. Having used it for some time now, I think I am in a position to review the same. Scroll down and read my Aroma Essentials Chocolate Lip Balm Review to see how it fared for me 🙂
Price of Aroma Essentials Chocolate Lip Balm : Rs.175/- for 12 ml
Directions for use : Scoop out a generous dollop of the lip balm. Apply on your lips. Use as often as desired.
Ingredients : Not mentioned but is manufactured using the finest quality natural ingredients, is free from artificial fragrance, chemicals and not tested on animals (so, cruelty-free too). It is dermatologically tested and must be stored in a refrigerator.
Shelf life : 6 Months
Color : light brown
Smell : In one word- Heavenly. Gladly, it is organic so the fragrance isn’t artificial. It has a mouth-watering aroma of chocolates which doesnt seem unnatural. Rather, it will compel you to inhale deeper every time you’ll open the tub.
What Aroma Essentials Chocolate Lip Balm claims
Nothing
My experience with Aroma Essentials Chocolate Lip Balm
Aroma Essentials Chocolate Lip Balm comes packed in an opaque plastic tub with a cap that doesn’t rupture/crack under pressure. The tub packaging makes it unhygienic to use but its a lip butter in my opinion and its texture doesn’t allow for a stick packaging. So, I can’t deem it a drawback because the texture allows only a tub packaging. The tub is sturdy and spillage-free hence, travel-friendly. In a nutshell, the packaging is fine for me.
The texture is slightly thick but not waxy or greasy at all. In fact, when applied on lips, it spreads easily since it melts. It is vegan, organic and has a delectable aroma which puts one at ease. The staying power is good. For my normal lips, it stays well for around 3 hours but for dry lips, it may stay for a lower time duration, however, due to its organic composition, I think it can cure dry/parched lips than just provide a shield.
The tint as you can see is non-existent. It is an entirely colorless/tint-less lip balm. Hence, those with pigmented lips won’t be able to conceal their pigmentation by this lip balm but still, as a moisturising lip balm, it works well. It can be used under lipsticks to prolong their impact since it is colourless.
Aroma Essentials Chocolate Lip Balm is quite an effective lip balm given its organic content and the ability to heal dry lips. It doesn’t have that glam value that one eyes in lip balms but whats the point of glossing your lips outwardly when inwardly they are dying thanks to the chemicals being pumped!!

Nidhal, I feel like eating it 😀
You have no idea how diffuclt it is for me to avoid licking it 😛 it’s like that delicious variety of chocolate which is neither too dark nor overly mellow. Just the perfect one. Sadly, it is a lip balm 😛
Thank you, Pallavi 🙂 This deserves a try. Bus chocolate samajh ke khaane mat lagna 😛 Because its aroma compels one to lick it!
This sounds nice for an organic product. And who wouldn’t want chocolate lip balm.
The best part is that it doesn’t have the brown tint, Sangeeta. It is colourless so, those with naturally pink lips can apply it conveniently 🙂 And yes, the natural tag spells cheer!
Aroma essentials products look super impressive. ..thanks fr bringing this to our notice 🙂
You’re welocme, Juthika. I’m delighted I could bring something less known to all the BHBians 🙂
And I’ve a clarification. This lip balm CONTAINS SPF. I got in touch with Mrs. Madhurima and she told me that all the lip balms by Aroma Essentials have SPF. Since nothing was mentioned about the SPF on the package, I assumed that it doesn’t contain it.
I’m sorry for the error. The bottomline is it has SPF so, there’s hardly any reason now not to grab it 😉
Great to have u on blog 🙂 we are getting quiet new and different brands product reviews
Thank you so much Kiran 🙂 Again, provoked to go “Awww” 😛
And I’ll try my best to bring new and natural products to BHB all the more from now.
Thanks everyone for dropping by to read my post 🙂
Please note once again that this lip balm HAS SPF (SUN PROTECTION FACTOR). Pardon me for the error. I regret it and would clarify that ALL Aroma Essentials’ lip products CONTAIN SPF.
So, technically, there isn’t any such major flaw with the product. Those who were cynical of it because of the lack of SPF have NO reason to be pessimistic now. IT HAS SPF 🙂
Sorry again for the misinformation.
That’s a nice one…i am always a fan of good lip balms…
