In this post, I will talk about how you can treat skin irritation after eyebrow threading as well as how to thicken eyebrows naturally. Also I will discuss about eyebrow makeup. Once threading is done, the skin around our eyebrows tend to burn and itch. So its important to cool down the irritated skin.
- First of all, wash your face with a face wash. I normally use Pond’s Pimple Clear Face Wash which is one of my favorites.
- Then use rose water as toner. Rose water calms down the irritated skin. Threading opens the pores on that particular area of the skin and rose water also helps to close them.
- Now its time to treat the burn and irritation around the eyebrow area. Mix small amount of Patanjali Aloe vera gel and BoroPlus Perfect Touch Soft Antiseptic Cream for Face & Body together and apply it on the irritated skin. Don’t apply it direct on the eyebrows. Gently massage as it will improve blood circulation. Aloe vera gel will soothe the burn and irritation while the BoroPlus antiseptic cream will take care of the small cuts that is often caused by threading.
So this is how you can take care of your eyebrows post threading. Now I will tell you a very easy home remedy to thicken thin eyebrows naturally.
- Mix together small amount of castor oil, coconut oil and petroleum jelly. Keep it in a small jar and apply this mixture on the eyebrows every night before going to bed. Just take out tiny amount of the mixture and massage it directly on the eyebrows. This is a very effective remedy to get thick and fuller eyebrows. Regular use will give result under one month.
Now that you know all about eyebrow care, lets move on to eyebrow makeup. Those who follow my makeup tutorial videos/posts regularly, know that I never forget to fill in my eyebrows. Since past few days, I am getting lots of queries about this. Here I have tried to explain the step elaborately.
As I already said, eyebrows are one of the most important facial features of ours. Neat and well defined eyebrows enhances our look, while thin or scanty brows just do the opposite.
To fill in your eyebrows, you can use any of these three products –
- Eyebrow pencil
- Eyebrow kit
- Brown eyeshadow
Eyebrow pencil is probably the oldest method to fill in the brows. There are many eyebrow kit available in the market today, Sleek Makeup Brow Kit Extra Dark and Maybelline Fashion Brow Duo Shaper Grey are couple of them. If you want to use brown eye shadow for your eyebrows, use an angular brush and make sure the shadow is long lasting or else your eyebrows will look faded away in few hours.
